sure, especially now that the gnome 2.22 upload started. 
Is there a new version of NM related stuff?

I can help on this package and eventually join. I've already imported
the package under svn.d.o/collab-maint but I can remove it.

And yes, the package needs some cleanup (a lot of lintian warnings).
