[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#499616: pppoe can't replace default route when NetworkManager package is installed

Package: network-manager
Version: 0.6.0

With the following /etc/network/interface

########################################
# This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
allow-hotplug eth0

iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.1
netmask 255.255.255.0

auto eth0
########################################

There will always be a default route in my route table, so we I use pppoe to
connect to my ISP, although I specify the option
defaultroute

however, the pppd will complain:
Can not replacing existing default route 192.168....

So I can't connect to my ISP. Actually, I believe network-manage brings
more problem than it solves ( I still remember the famous firefox-3.0 can't
work with network-manager), Please consider to remove this package from
default installation.
