important is the correct severity for this bug.

Please send me your output of "hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes"
and of "NetworkManager --daemon=no"

I suspect that it is a rkillswitch related problem, so you might look
out for that in the syslog and attach relevant information to this bug
report.

Which hardware / driver are you using?
Are all network interfaces affected, or only wlan?
