This bug is still there in version 0.5.12: hald[3612]: segfault at 0 ip 0000000000433735 sp 00007fffbd5f6800 error 4 in hald[400000+55000] Debian Testing amd64, standard kernel 2.6.30 --- the bug seems to have come up only recently, but I'm not sure when.
