The new knm works differently. It only shows the configured network connection
in the context menu. Create them via "Bearbeite Verbindungen". You also have to
make sure, your wlan device is not in unmanaged mode (see the output of nm-tool
and read the README.Debian of network-manager)

Hi Marc,

are you sure 1.2.1-5 and 1.2.12 behave differently? Both versions contain the
same fix, i.e. a stricter default default system bus policy configuration.

If there is such a rejected dbus message, it is not a bug in dbus, but the
application (in that case knm) which previously relied on the wrong dbus
behaviour and now needs a fixed dbus configuration (the 0.7 version of knm has a
fixed dbus conf file, see also #510757)

Could you please test both dbus versions and make sure to reboot to avoid any
side-effects. Then 1.2.1-5 should behave like 1.2.10-1, i.e. reject dbus
messages if not configured properly.

Cheers,
Michael
