Hallo,

starting nm-applet (desktop environment is lxde) I got the following error message in a Popup:

The NetworkManager applet could not find some required resources.  It 
cannot continue. Starting it on the console, i got a more detailed information:

(nm-applet:1714): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not find the icon 'nm-no-connection'. The 
'hicolor' theme was not found either, perhaps you need to install it.
You can get a copy from:
        http://icon-theme.freedesktop.org/releases

nm-applet didn't apear in the panel, so it wasn't usable. The solution which worked for me was to install gnome-icon-theme. After that I just tried if the problem comes back, if i remove gnome-icon-theme. But it still works after removing it. So the icon seams to be there, and the problem isn't realy a missing icon.
