You recommend to use libcap-dev instead of libcap2-dev, but won't this cause
problems with downstreams, that still ship libcap-dev?
(or make it easy to forget when doing lenny backports)

I discussed this with the co-maintainers of avahi, and we think the best
recommendation would be, to use
libcap-dev (>= 1:2.16), so you don't accidentally pick up any old version
(even libcap2-dev | libcap-dev doesn't ensure that, as an old libcap-dev could
already been installed, so the b-dep would be satisfied).

Just some thoughts I think I should let you know.
