For power savings. In laptop-mode-tools, I would like to call udisks --
inhibit-polling when switching to battery.

I am not sure. How can I verify that ? I do have hal installed currently which
does report polling.

root 7516 0.0 0.0 24256 796 ? S 10:26 0:03 hald-addon-
storage: polling /dev/sr0 (every 2 sec)

This same device responds well to hal.

No, that file is not present there. But udisks does report this attribute in --
dump.
" detects change: 1"
