[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#592719: floppy mount problem caused by udisks-daemon

Hello,

When udisks-daemon is running floppy drive cannot be mounted. The daemon causes the drive to unmount automatically. The daemon seems to monitor /dev/fd0 and unmounts it if any attempt is made to mount it. If I add 1 more floppy (/dev/fd1) then the floppy can be mounted manually with the "mount" command.

The floppy can be accessed within the operating system, e.g. writing new file system to the drive etc works fine. If the daemon is killed, then the floppy drive (fd0) can be mounted but the daemon restarts and unmounts the floppy drive again. Attempts through GUI (GDM) or command prompt fails to mount and it breaks floppy functionality.

Regards,
Seshadri
