In the window for choosing which type of SMART self-test to perform, the option
for the extended self-test says "usually tens of minutes".  That description is
a bit misleading:  on modern high-capacity drives it usually takes at least an
hour, and often several hours.  A phrase like "may take several hours" would
give users a better idea of what to expect when they choose this option.
