Was that an existing connection configuration that was migrated or did
you create the network connection with 0.9.0?

The severity suggests that the package is completely unusable.

Does that mean other connection don't work either? Are you able to
successfully create new connections?

Did you restart nm-applet/your desktop session/your computer?

Could you please send me a complete debug log of network-manager,
following the instructions at [1]
