Perfect. This provides me the right environment to get to know git
closely, since it's the "in-thing" now.

Oh. It didn't strike me to check that that could have been the cause! :-)

However, I think the move to git has been good, since my reading about
git has given me the feeling that it's a wonderful "dirty" piece of
software, which will help getting work done better once one gets the
right feel. This is a good way for me to learn git.
