Yes, i allready know your patch, and i like the idea to have only one
binary very much (I will also speed up the package compilation a lot.
;-) ), but this is something that i do not want to force into sarge,
because i did not have the time to test it against vdr 1.2.6 until
now, but when we start to package vdr 1.3.x or 1.4 i will definitely
consider to integrate your patch. (The best option would be if this
patch would be integrated in upstream of course.) ;-)

I will look at it in the next days, maybe we can include it in vdr
1.2.6-7, lets see.
