thanks, Marcel has already pointed this out to me off-list.
keymacros.conf doesn't include an example of the '@' symbol, but vdr(5)
does explain this. too bad I had only read vdr(1) ;-)

I agree, the patch was only sent to the list so it could be tested and
reviewed, and to avoid the (highly improbable) possibility of anyone
else struggling with FLOF independently.

until it is included upstream, I don't mind patching it in myself,
either way I have to recompile the plugin to go with Darren Salt's
packages[1] (which have vdr-plugin-xine and an adapted libxine1)

he said the next version will probably incorporate it, as an option.
