Yes, of course it may cause some confusion but in the long term i
guess it would be the best solution. I also agree that it should be
mentioned in both README.Debian and NEWS.

Ok.

So it just needs to be implemented. ;-)
(I do not really have very much time at the moment, maybe i can
implement this next weekend.)
