History of Commit-Messages

Hello pkg-vdr-dvb-devel readers,

is there a history of commit messages? I use:

svn commit -m "Added tarball of vdr-plugin-lastfm 0.2.5"

but I am not sure about the result.

The vdr-plugin-lastfm was compiled without errors and I want to finish
the prozess with:

   svn commit -m "New Upstream version 0.2.5"

   or with:

   debcommit

   Is this correct?
