Ups... looks like my answer never arrived the BTS... 

I'm also unable to reproduce this bugreport, hence I'm reducing it's
severity.

Andreas' system doesn't seem to be up to date, so I agree.

Andreas, please upgrade your system, try running kvim again and let us
know the result.
