I consider that patch a showstopper for the upload in unstable: either
we fix it or we revert the original patch reopening the symlink bug (of
course IMHO). That said I don't think it is wort an upload to
experimental just for it.

I will test it, if it works and you're confident in it, for me it is
fine to release the svn version of vim (remember that joeyh is waiting
for us for the vim-tiny in base proposal).
