Subject: vim: No syntax highlighting possible
Package: vim
Version: 1:7.0-122+1
Severity: minor

*** Please type your report below this line ***
When trying to open a TeX-File for example, the vim-internal command
":syntax on" comes up with the following error message:

Error detected while processing /usr/share/vim/vim70/syntax/syntax.vim:
line 42:
E216: No such group or event: filetypedetect BufRead
Press ENTER or type command to continue

Processing the same file with "vim -u NONE <filename.tex>" and
":syntax on" works fine.

This error is reproduceable no matter what filetype is used.
