script to browse debian package

Hi,
I made scripts to browse debian package within vim in the same way you 
can browse .tar or .zip files.
http://www.fdn.fr/~arenevier/vim/

But on the opposite of .zip and .tar files, you cannot write on the fly 
inside package. I don't plan to include that feature because I feel that 
would be an awful way to modify a debian package.

As it is my first vim script, I'd like to get some opinions before 
sending it to vim.org and/or submitting it for inclusion inside debian 
vim package.

So, if you find that script interesting, I'd be happy to get comments 
about it (either on usability, or code style, or anything) so I can 
improve it.

I hope I'm in the right place to ask, and I apologize if I am not.
