While I understand why you contacted the Vim maintainers about this,
filing a bug against the Vim package wasn't the correct approach.  I'm
reassigning the bug to wnpp[0] as a "Request for Package" bug.
Currently, I'm pretty much the only active maintainer for the Vim
packages and I don't really have time to pick up another package.
