Bug#504244: vim: Please support turning on and using xterm bracketed paste mode

Package: vim
Version: 2:7.2.025-2
Severity: wishlist

Some terminals such as xterm have a bracketed paste mode, where any
pasted text has escape sequences surrounding it to distinguish it from
typed text. Vim could enable the terminal's bracketed paste mode, and
then treat pasted text as though as though the user used vim's paste
mode.
