Bug#500875: vim-addon-manager does not respect source-dir option

Package: vim-addon-manager
Version: 0.4
Severity: normal

I'm developing a debian package that uses vim-addon-manager (Searching
for a mentor by the way[1]). Now I'd like to switch between the dpkg
installed version of my script and the "trunk" version I'm developing.

I try
vim-addons -r /var/checkouts/vim-debugger-dbgp/debian \
           -s /var/checkouts/vim-debugger-dbgp install debugger-dbgp

But vim-addons still symlinks to /usr/share... instead of
/var/checkouts...

I hope I understood the source-dir option well. If not, please add a
little more details to the man page.
