I have not configured any options in gpg.vim.

Not sure why it happens. I do have multiple keyrings with my
key on them, since I have included 
keyring /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg
in gpg.conf. Also in there FWIW:
encrypt-to 788A3F4C

I don't think I currently have 2 secret keyrings with the
same key in them.
