Control: reassign -1 mplayer 2:1.0~rc3++final.dfsg1-1
Reassigning this to the mplayer package since that's what you seem to be
talking about.

There is no libsmb package in Debian. Maybe you mean the libsmbclient
package, which is a Depends of mplayer, not a Recommends.
