<p class="MsoNormal">As another test, I built a new VM using an official Debian testing amd64 netinst ISO file on my server running the latest version of VirtualBox from Oracle (4.2.10). As mentioned above, the guest additions found in the repositories were
automatically added to the VM as expected but they failed with the same errors when attempting to install.<o:p></o:p></p>
