fail to build from git clone

Hi Marc,

You have to use git-buildpackage. (or you can do it manually if you really
want to, but I wouldn't advise you to try)
See: http://workaround.org/debian-git-comaintenance
I also suggest you to use pbuilder. It's a little time investment but it's
worth it.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PbuilderHowto
Some tips to integrate those two tools (along with other useful gbp help):
http://honk.sigxcpu.org/projects/git-buildpackage/manual-html/gbp.special.html#GBP.SPECIAL.PBUILDER

More specifically, it looks like the patches in debian/patches have not been
applied. Are your versions Source 3.0 (quilt) aware ?

Don't hesitate to ask again if you can't figure out how to build.

Cheers

Arthur
