 Looking at t38modem changelog, I smiled:

t38modem (0.6.2-1) unstable; urgency=3Dlow

  * Initial Release. (Closes: Bug#200464)
  * Patch to include -v option for help2man

 Basically this means that there is no t38modem in Woody, so if we don't
manage to get a fix for t38modem, we can just ask debian-release to
remove it from Sarge, which will allow all the other packages to slip
into Sarge. We will only need to file a bug tagged Sid in t38modem to
make it not go to Sarge too.

 If we want this done, we have to ask debian-release ASAP, so please,
tell me about your opinions. Mark? Kilian?

 See you
