see my last mail where i told you about ztcfg issues. That's almost
certainly this issue. Try removing the post-install and unload zaphfc
and zaptel. When then running "modprobe zaphfc modes=3D1" does stop your
asterisk from launching (i.e. "asterisk -U asterisk -vvvc" does fail
within chan_zap), run "ztcfg -v" once and try again. If you then get the
CLI prompt you should be also able to get a dialtone (assuming your
hardware setup is ok).
