Oh don't get me wrong. The demo config is good and as a default it
demonstrates that you have a working asterisk box, dials out to digium and
answers calls from the console so it is a useful test case.

I was thinking along the lines of your default xorcom rapid install which
assumes 1xFXO, and a couple of SIP extensions. So someone with the default
hardware could get online with a SOHO solution very quickly.
Then maybe we get a couple of use cases going by providing default configs
packages for a couple of cases:
