Yes, help is needed with UW IMAP: So far I haven't succeeded packaging
the 2004 releases. Debian patches the source to build a shared library
which is not liked by upstream. The 2004 releases has changed the build
structure in a way that addresses some of it, but not quite - and it
breaks the old patch.

It might be too late now for a libc-client library change now for etch,
but help is much appreciated, and if done quickly there's still a
chance.

What exactly makes asterisk not work with older releases of
libc-client? Perhaps it is not the old version, but the fact that i
needs to be linked dynamically and not static as is common outside of
the Debian community?
