I had a look at the script and was able to get it to generate some modules,
thanks!. I found I needed some dependencies though, for example, you need the
feature extensions to be able to use the voicemail settings. I don't really see
how this can be automated well. Is it not better to use the watch file
mechanism once you have generated the first module package?

Now I looked at the ari packaging. I found a few problems in the control file
and debian/rules, so I checked in some fixes to svn. I also found problems
getting ari to work out of the box with freepbx. I found a quick hack but I
haven't made proper fixes yet.
