Situation regarding mISDN

Hello,

The situation wrt mISDN is currently a mess and I'd like to have this
resolved.
I'm not a mISDN user myself nor I have the necessary hardware (hm, maybe
my HFC-S works with mISDN though) but it hurts the overall quality of
the package(s).

E.g. we also have #399970 against Asterisk requiring mISDN support --
I'm inclined to mark it as wishlist but OTOH it's a channel driver
provided and supported by upstream and Digium started selling BRI cards
with mISDN as the channel.
