Bug#406690: linphone-nox: fails authentication with QSC as provider, adds more and more authentication headers

Package: linphone-nox
Version: 1.5.1-1
Severity: important

Hello,

I'm trying to connect to my ISP's VoIP service, which works fine with a
Grandstream BT100 telephone. With linphone, registration works, however
I cannot establish a call.

The outgoing INVITE is answered with 407 Proxy Authentication Required,
after which a new Proxy-Authorization: header is added. This INVITE is
however again met with a 407, after which another header is added. This
is repeated until a size limit is reached (the INVITE sent then is
malformed and ignored by the proxy, which ends the game).

A tcpdump log can be found at http://psi5.com/~geier/sip .
