I've been trying to debug this with no success.
It seems like a toolchain issue, since no code changes have been made 
since the previous revision, which worked fine on all architectures.
Building with gcc/g++ 4.2, however, didn't have an effect.

It's very likely that this a pwlib-titan bug (again, its previous 
version worked) but I'm not reassigning it just yet.

Jurij Smakov offered to help and began debugging it (CCed).
He mentioned about finding something (specifically, a NULL pointer 
dereference of *GetAPIVersion()) but didn't have time to investigate it 
further yet.

This bug is blocking updates of other packages too (gnugk for sure, 
possibly others).
There is also a slight chance that is related to #478502, a gnugk ftbfs 
on s390 for similar reasons.

help is much welcome; build-deps are still installed on sperger (afaik).
