As a minimum essential package I would suggest -gsm.

I would rate as desirable to ship other formats for a few reasons:

. Benefits Questionable. Without wideband codecs the benefits are =
minimal

. No additional functionality. The functionality is the same just better =
quality although see my first point

. Production Use. Production user requires a degree of custom modification. =
Potentially including different waveforms. This is generally beyond the =
scope of packaging.

. New User confusion. New user of asterisk would like a straight forward =
install and doesn't need multiple waveforms to get a system up and running =
could be confusing.
