Bug#513229: One Way Audio

Package: asterisk_1.4.21.2~dfsg-1_i386.deb
Version: 1.4.21.2~dfsg-1

I rebuilt the Asterisk-1.4.21.2 from the Debian Testing repository on
my Debian GNU/Linux Etch running the 2.6.18-6-686 kernel. I got a
Digium TDM400P with 1 FXO (channel 4) and 1 FXS (channel 1). My SIP
extension phone located inside the LAN is a SNOM 300 IP phone.

This one way audio problem only happens when the SIP extension phone
(let's call it the CALLER) places an outbound call to a mobile phone
or analog telephone (let's call it the CALLEE) via FXO/POTS. The
CALLER can hear the CALLEE's voice but the CALLEE cannot hear the
CALLER's voice.

The call flow is as follows:

[SIP_Phone] ==LAN/SIP==> [Asterisk_PBX] ==FXO/POTS==>
[Analog_Phone/Mobile_Phone]

I already posted this problem on the Asterisk-Users mailing list dated
Sun, Oct 12, 2008 at 11:53 PM.

I have attached the output of the command "ztmonitor 1 -v -r
streamrx.raw -t streamtx.raw" and the /var/log/asterisk/messages for
more information.

Regards,

GNUbie
