Oh, ok.  I got the impression that we were discussing a separate 
package.  You mentioned in an earlier post (which was quoted until this 
very last one) the following URL: 
http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/pkg-voip/asterisk-sounds/asterisk-core-sounds/

Is that asterisk-sounds package now part of asterisk?

Oh, well. Not important: the packaging style should apply to *all* 
packages wanting to most efectively integrate with the core asterisk 
package (and why package asterisk packages if not wanting integration?).
