It seems to be possible to close all of twinkle's windows, and still
have it running - maybe this is what you saw - it's not normally
possible to close the system tray icon window, but if you do, then
twinkle continues to execute.  You can probably get it to exit, or
reveal itself using the command line options, but probably it should do
something more sensible (like try to create a new systray icon, or just
quit entirely).
