If you're running lenny, you can probably use the Wine versions in
experimental, I'm currently working on updating Wine there. For adding
experimental to your sources, see for example
http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/resources.html#experimental

Then you can grab the Wine in experimental (apt has several ways to do
that, using the -t option is one).
