Run winecfg, and make sure it is using winealsa.drv; test sound there.
Try backing up ~/.wine, and starting over to get rid of possibly old
settings. Make sure your pulseaudio configuration is really set up
right; run pavucontrol.

Yes, that's been a "work in progress" for a very long time now...
