Hi Faidon,

Kyle and Reinhard both welcomed you into pkg-wpa, you've been added to
the group.

I've committed hostapd to pkg-wpa SVN trunk, and have begun hacking on
it to support the issues I raised with you before and a couple more.
Briefly:

    * LSB compliant init script
    * possibility to manage multiple interface/configurations
    * possibility to use configuration files in local directories (ie,
      not /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf)
    * ability to reload the configuration file after modification with
      HUP signal

These have all been achieved tonight, and just need some more time to
test and discuss proposed changes. I've updated to 0.5.4-1, and have the
done the following:

    * upgraded but totally ignored the changes to conffiles, the service
      started just as it used to (using /etc/hostapd.conf when no others
      were specified), with the exception that it now creates a pidfile
    * purged, reinstalled
    * start the service with two custom configuration files, and
      launched hostapd on my test box with two madwifi access points
      configured and working well. This would scale to 3 or 4 for those
      real wifi enthusiasts :-)
    * was able to reload the configuration file of hostapd on the fly
      via init script (HUP signal)

BTW, I've enabled SVN commit email notification via the PTS (with cvs
keyword!) after a bit of trial and error.

Thanks, Kel.
