If they are indeed required, then someone should tell Jouni that. And 
when they send a bug report to a distribution maintainer(s), information 
about the discussion with upstream can be referenced to, and all the 
pertinent information is available there.

Of course, I am not telling you anything that you did not already know 
Reinhard, I simply fail to see the purpose of this bug report.
