If you are referring to nxcomp and nxproxy, then those are already 
maintained for Debian, so first step is to file a wishlist bugreport 
requesting an update to newer upstream source, and parallel to that 
(e.g. mentioned in that same bugreport) propose the current maintainer 
to join forces with us in this team and/or llow us to take over 
maintainance of those packages.

Should be online again now.  You should consider subscribing to 
debian-devel-announce at lists.debian.org to receive info on issues like 
that.

Looks sensible - as long as we do not not hijack those packages already 
in Debian.
