I could find the patch that caused us trouble:

I have released nx-libs 3.5.0.7 (lite and full):
http://code.x2go.org/releases/source/nx-libs

X2Go Debian packages are already available in the nightly builds on  
packages.x2go.org, Launchpad builds are still pending.

With the new packages (nx-libs_3.5.0.7-full) the above crash does not  
occur anymore.
