If using the Debian installer method you don't need to install a domU
kernel in domain 0 if you use the pygrub method to boot, which is what
the supplied example configuration will do.

This last one is incorrect since the linux-image-2.6.25-2-amd64 kernel
doesn't support Xen. You can either use the Etch kernel or build your
own 2.6.27 packages.

Apart from the two niggles above I think so.

I don't think so.

You could try repacking the installer initrd.gz with the modules for the
a self built 2.6.27 kernel, I don't think the Etch 2.6.18 kernel will do
in this case.

I'd be interested to hear feedback about the 32 bit D-i for domU stuff
-- so far noone seems to have used it...
