Yes.

Can you build it with the above steps?

sudo apt-get build-dep xen-utils-4.0
apt-get source xen-utils-4.0
wget http://iki.fi/lindi/xen/install-remus1.patch
cd xen-4.0.1/
patch -p1 < ../install-remus1.patch
debuild
sudo debi

I'd rather not start distributing such experimental binaries...
