The Debian init scripts are not derived from the upstream ones. They are
not interchangeable.

Right now I don't intend to split this in any way. It provides no
advantage.

I don't see why.

Both sound wrong. It is used to "control" the whole thing. However I'm
not sure what "stack" would refer to.
