The changelog says:

 * debian/control: updated build-deps against Xfce 4.4RC2 (4.3.99.2).

Maybe the Build-Depends on libhal-dev was introduced in error?  Does
xfce4-session really need it?  If yes, please add [!hurd-i386
!kfreebsd-i386 !kfreebsd-amd64] to it.
