Hello,
I noticed that in the current testing distribution the
xfce4-sensors-plugin also should depend on lm-sensors being installed.
It it is not, the plugin is not getting started properly through the
panel which results in a xfce4-sensors-plugin zombie process.
I verified this on 2 standard PCs (one Athlon XP and one Pentium 4
based) as well as on one IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T60. All machines have
2.6.x vanilla kernels with hwmon and i2c compiled in.
As soon as the lm-sensors package is installed the plugin works fine.
Have a nice day,
Ian
